Health and Safety
The management of health and safety is considered to be a top level commitment fundamental to the Corpenagen operation. The director responsible for health and safety policy is the managing director.
Our policy arrangements aim to protect all employees and anyone else that may be affected by our activities.
Training on health and safety is provided for all levels of employees to a syllabus in line with that approved by the International Industry Training Bodies and other national training organizations to which the company subscribes.
A dedicated team of health and safety specialists provides support and advice to management and workforce on maintaining the highest level of health and safety standards and has the full support of the directors.
Performance against specific health and safety objectives and targets is reported annually and includes statistical data on incidents and other key performance indicator criteria. It is our aim to maintain these statistics well below the Nigerian industry average.
Environmental
Our commitment is summarized to the following principles: Application of good environmental practices;
1. Consideration of the environmental impact within the processes of development and engineering of our services/products;
2. Prevention of pollution by responsible management of materials;
3. Reduction of emissions and waste and efficient use of energy and natural resources;
4. Promotion of the idea of environmental responsibility among our employees; they are trained in managing their environmental preserving a healthy environment and reacting to environmental emergencies;
5. Monitoring of our environmental performance and setting measurable objectives and targets for achieving sustainable improvement;
6. Communicating with our employees and local communities regarding our environmental commitment and performance; and regular audits of our procedures to ensure conformance to our policy.
